EnFuse is a private, custom, long-term fitness training studio based in Enfield, CT. We have a unique model where clients book by appointment for an individually tailored gym experience guided by one to two personal trainers. We pride ourselves on proactive, preventative care and would like to add another person with a physical therapy background to our collaborative, energetic, and devoted team. We’re in the process of rebranding our online presence with the hope of expanding our already dedicated customer base and expanding to another location in the next several years.
This is a part-time position. You’d work with a consistent client base providing strength training with a preventative, therapeutic eye. You’d be responsible for learning individual client needs and crafting specially tailored routines surrounding client short- and long-term goals. You may need to email clients with follow-ups and check-ins. Additionally, you will be asked to serve as a mentor to junior Personal Trainers, Strength Coaches, and PT Students.
One-on-one training or physical therapy experience
Familiarity with building out Micro, Meso, and Macrocycles
Team player who’s appreciative of and capable of providing constructive guidance
Dedicated to making an inclusive, accepting space for all identities at various stages of their fitness journey
Dedicated to professional development
BA in the related field
Certified through NASM, ACSM, and/or Pilates Method Certified
Graduate education in related field
Physical therapist DPT certification
Peripheral certification as a Personal Trainer (CPT, CES) or Strength Coach (CSCS)
(Preferred) Peripheral certification as a Personal Trainer (CPT, CES)
Demonstrated ability to use their insights, education, and skill set for preventative measures vs reactive
