Cooking with Adriana: Zesty Roasted Garlic Hummus
Adriana is the absolute joy and daughter of EnFuse co-owner Tyler. She’s an adventurous and bright kid who loves to cook. Here’s one of her favorite recipes.
2 lemons (squeezed)
1 head of garlic (peeled)
1 can white beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can Garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
1 tsp honey
1 tsp sriracha
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp water
1 tbsp sliced basil leaves
1 tsp cumin
Preheat oven to 425
Place garlic, honey, sriracha, and 1 tbsp of olive oil in oven safe dish.
Bake in oven for 15 minutes
Place white beans, garbanzo beans, remaining olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, water, and cumin in food processor and turn on until you have a smooth consistency.
Remove garlic from oven and let cool.
Add garlic to food processor.
Turn food processor back on and blend until garlic is completely incorporated into hummus.
Remove hummus and place in serving bowl.
Top with pinch of smoked paprika and basil.
Tip: For a healthy snack serve with carrots, cucumber, celery or radish.
